MozParks welcomed Zimbabwean Ambassador Victor Matemadanda at the Beluluane Industrial Park on an official visit aimed at strengthening economic cooperation and exploring new opportunities for industrial collaboration between Zimbabwe and Mozambique.
The visit, which highlighted the strong relationship between the two countries, included tours of two companies operating within the park. The delegation observed ongoing industrial operations and activities linked to the value chain, gaining a deeper understanding of Mozambique’s industrial ecosystem and the capabilities of the private sector.
In addition to showcasing the operations and model of the Beluluane Industrial Park, MozParks also used the visit to present its development vision across several regions of the country and its engagement with communities in different provinces.
During the visit, the ambassador stressed the urgency of moving from dialogue to implementation, highlighting the need to facilitate practical cooperation and accelerate joint efforts between the two countries.
“This is very important and critical for national economic development, as well as for the job security of Zimbabwean citizens, naturally,” said Matemadanda.
“To ensure Africa achieves long-term growth and sustainable economic development, it is essential for each country to prioritise industrialisation as a driver of investment, job creation, and economic transformation,” said MozParks CEO Onório Manuel.
The visit marked another step in strengthening cooperation between Mozambique and Zimbabwe, with a shared focus on industrial growth, investment, and job creation. Through initiatives of this nature, MozParks continues to position itself as a platform for regional collaboration and sustainable economic development, benefiting both countries and their communities.
