Mozambique Requires Further Incentive For Exports of National Production

For this purpose, the Agency for the Promotion of Investments and Exports, APIEX, should provide information on investments, business and foreign trade.

According to the Prime Minister, Carlos Agostinho do Rosário, APIEX should ensure the creation and operation of special economic zones and industrial free zones, as part of the process of industrialization of the country.

Carlos Agostinho do Rosário was speaking on Monday in Maputo, after conferring possession to the Chairman of the Board of the Competition Regulatory Authority, Yakub Aly and the Director-General of the Agency for the Promotion of Investment and Exports, APIEX, Gil da Conceição Bires.

The Prime Minister has also invested the director-general of the National Institute for Quality Standardization, Geraldo Albazine.

Carlos Agostinho do Rosário defended, in the occasion, that INNOQ must ensure the observance of quality standards and norms, to protect the human health and improve the productivity indexes.

At the same ceremony, the Prime Minister swore in the deputy director-general of the National Institute for Standardization and Quality, Arlindo Mucombe, as well as the deputy director-general of APIEX, Luís José Machava.
