The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, has been in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan since the afternoon of Wednesday, 23 March, for a three-day working visit to this Middle Eastern country.
On his arrival, the Head of State met with the King of Jordan, Abdullah II, during which they discussed issues of common interest related to the consolidation of friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries.
In the conversation, Filipe Nyusi and Abdullah II reviewed aspects of bilateral cooperation, with emphasis on the areas of agriculture, tourism, energy, industry, mineral resources and identified other sectors to be explored, with exchanges of high-level visits.
On this trip, the President of the Republic is accompanied by the Minister of the Interior, Arsénia Massingue; Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Manuel Gonçalves; staff from the Presidency of the Republic and other State institutions.
