In Niassa’s Nipepe district, work on the graphite exploration and processing factory will end next month.
This is an undertaking with capacity to process thirty thousand tons per year, which is eighty percent finished.
The initiative belongs to DH-Maining Devolpment, a firm with Chinese capital.
The administrator of Nipepe district, Sérgio Igua, said that setting up this project was contributing to an increase in jobs for young people in the region.
The Nipepe graphite mine, under concession to DH-Mining, has a reserve of 5.4 million tons.
