Santos e Vale intends to resume operations in Africa soon and to this end has recently established a strategic partnership with Transtrevo. The aim is to strengthen relations between Portugal, Mozambique, Angola and other Portuguese-speaking countries, with a view to developing business and improving the integrated capacities of the parties involved.
According to the president of Transtrevo, Katiana Oliveira, quoted in a report published on Friday 10 November by the Portuguese online newspaper Transportes e Negócios, the partnership will promote synergies and create opportunities to expand the operations and services of both companies internationally.
“This collaboration is very prestigious for us, as it allows us to offer our customers access to a vast logistics structure on the Iberian Peninsula. We are committed to better serving our clients’ operations by taking advantage of Santos & Vale’s expertise. The co-operation will also strengthen our position in the market and reinforce our dedication to providing comprehensive and efficient logistics solutions,” he said.
The implementation of this partnership will be led by Strategio Consulting, a company specialising in logistics consultancy with more than 20 years of international experience.
Founded in 2016, Transtrevo is a global logistics operator, offering road, sea and area freight services, warehousing, project cargo, contract logistics and customs services. Headquartered in Luanda, Angola, the company is also based in Mozambique, South Africa and has offices in Portugal and Spain.
