The World Bank has just disbursed more than 37 million meticals for the rehabilitation of roads damaged by the rains in Beira City.
The mayor of Beira, Albano Carige, who announced the fact, made it known that the roads that will be repaired have already been identified.
These are roads number 1 and 6, located in the Manga neighborhood, which are in an advanced state of degradation.
“We are now launching the tender to have the consultant who will do the environmental impact studies for the roads 1 and 6, in the Manga neighborhood, to then culminate with the paving of these two roads,” he said.
