Government Announces Start of Technical Survey for EN1 Rehabilitation Work

Last Monday, the technical survey process began with a view to the actual start of the rehabilitation work on National Road number one (EN1).

The news was announced this Friday in Guruè, Zambezia, by the Minister of Public Works, Housing and Water Resources, Carlos Mesquita.

According to the minister, Carlos Mesquita, the geotechnical study is initially taking place on the Inchope/Gorongosa, Muera-Caia and Chimuara-Nicoadala sections.

Meanwhile, the World Bank has secured funding of more than 400 million dollars (25.2 billion meticais) for the rehabilitation of the N1 road.
