Fidelidade Ímpar Mozambique revealed on Wednesday (10), via a note, that it recorded a net profit of over 583 million meticals in 2022, a figure that, according to the insurer, represents the commitment that the company maintains with the market and the trust generated between business partners and customers.
The economic and financial information reported in the 2022 Annual Report and Accounts, cited in the document to which Diário Económico (DE) had access, reveals that the insurer presents a sign of stability and solidity to the market and, in particular, to customers ensuring a solvency ratio of 746%.
“Fidelidade Ímpar acted in a context of unpredictable behaviour of the global, regional and national economies, and geopolitical and economic tensions that contributed to the increase in global inflation levels. Even so, it benefited from the pandemic relief trend that, to a certain extent, encouraged the recovery of economies with the free movement of people and goods,” the document reads.
For the company’s Chairman, Manuel Gamito, the results highlight the prospects for growth and sustainability, supported by knowledge and experience in the sector, a modern infrastructure, as well as a diversified offer of products and services of greater convenience to society.
“The trajectory of the insurer aggregates will and is based on experience that confers a catalysing role on the sector in Mozambique. We seek to give the population greater dynamism and inclusion,” the source said.
In his turn, the chief executive, Carlos Leitão, noted that the “excellent economic and financial results come from the recognition obtained in Mozambique and worldwide. The outlook is one of confidence in the future, based on growth supported by the new commercial evolution that focuses on greater proximity to customers and business partners.
