The Maputo International Trade Fair (FACIM) will take place from August 25 to 31 at the Ricatla venue, in the municipal district of Marracuene, Maputo Province, with the participation of 3,150 exhibitors, the government announced this Tuesday, August 5, through the Council of Ministers’ spokesperson, Inocêncio Impissa, as reported by Lusa news agency.
According to the spokesperson, 800 international exhibitors and 2,350 national exhibitors from 27 countries have confirmed their participation. Organizers estimate that the fair will attract around 70,000 visitors over the seven days of the event. Gaza Province and South Africa have been named guests of honor for the 2025 edition.
The 2024 edition of FACIM is being held under the theme “Promoting economic diversification towards sustainable and competitive development in Mozambique” and will include exhibitions, a business forum with South Africa, seminars, promotional sessions, and networking events.
FACIM is held annually and serves as a platform to showcase the country’s economic potential, as well as business and investment opportunities, involving national and international companies from various sectors.
