The Ministry of Industry and Trade, through the Agency for the Promotion of Investment and Exports (APIEX), is holding the 58th edition of the Maputo International Fair – FACIM 2023, from 28 August to 3 September, at the Ricatla International Fairs and Exhibitions Centre, located in the district of Marracuene, Maputo province.
Taking place under the theme “Diversification of the National Economy in the Context of Continental Integration”, this edition will expose the country’s potential for production and export, as well as promote business and investment opportunities in the various segments of economic activity.
So far, 50 companies have registered, and the highlight is the MozParks industrial complex, located in the district of Boane, Maputo province, according to the provincial director of Industry and Commerce, Joel Nhassengo, quoted by Rádio Moçambique.
“The preparation work for the event is going well, so we encourage companies to register as there are still vacancies,” he said.
This year, it is expected to attract more than 2,500 national and foreign exhibitors and 450 companies from 25 countries around the world, distributed in ten pavilions and free spaces, and all economic sectors, associations, public and private companies are also invited.
FACIM is a platform for exchange and co-operation and will have a range of activities including exhibitions, seminars, promotion sessions and contact exchanges.
