CTA and Namibia Want to Promote Commercial Exchange

The Confederation of Economic Associations (CTA) said on Wednesday, February 8, in a statement that it received a visit from the Namibian ambassador to Mozambique and Zimbabwe, Niklaas Kandjii, who expressed interest in strengthening trade relations and promoting exchanges between businessmen from both countries, highlighting the fisheries sector as having potential for cooperation.

The diplomat, quoted in the statement, raised the possibility of holding a joint Mozambique-Namibia business fair and expressed his willingness to mobilize Namibian investors to explore business opportunities in Mozambique.

The president of CTA, Agostinho Vuma, also showed interest in cooperating with the new ambassador in promoting business exchanges. According to the statement, the leader made a brief presentation of the Annual Conference of the Private Sector (CASP), its components and the advantages of participating in this event, as it is the largest platform for public-private dialogue and business discussion in Mozambique.

The parties also raised the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding aimed at sharing information about events and business opportunities.
