AZAP Mozambique has announced the appointment of Marco Mondego Marques to the position of general manager, in a decision that marks the beginning of a new strategic phase for the operator in the domestic market, according to an official statement.
With over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and technology industry, Marco Marques has built a career marked by strategic leadership, business development, and critical infrastructure management. Throughout his career, he has held executive positions in telecommunications, digital services, and operations, leading multidisciplinary teams and driving technological modernization projects.
His professional career began at TropicalNet, later moving on to Internet Solutions, TV Cabo, and later Vodacom Mozambique, where he gained relevant experience in operations management and service expansion.
In taking over the leadership of ZAP Mozambique, Marco Marques intends to strengthen the company’s commitment to innovation, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth, in a context of increasing competitiveness in the sector.
