The Business Year (TBY) – a global media group – announced on Wednesday 21st February that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Agency for the Promotion of Investments and Exports (APIEX).
In a statement issued by the agency, it can be read that the agreement was signed by TBY’s country director, Diana García De La Rosa, and Gil da Conceição Bires, director-general of APIEX, with the two parties now beginning a collaboration to bring the Mozambican market closer to international investors and institutions.
Focusing specifically on Digitalisation, Energy, Agriculture, Tourism and Industrialisation, The Business Year’s research will result in the launch of its annual survey entitled “The Business Year: Mozambique 2024”.
The document adds that “the publication is intended to serve as an essential guide for those seeking a comprehensive overview of each sector and its respective opportunities. In support of The Business Year’s mission, APIEX – a long-standing official partner in Mozambique – will play a crucial role, offering invaluable assistance and facilitating research, thus highlighting the variety of business prospects available to the global investor community.”
The partnership will have a significant impact on economic dialogue in the country. “By fusing its research capabilities and industry expertise, TBY aims to provide a valuable asset that informs and motivates investment decisions in the region, while ensuring alignment in promoting growth and development objectives,” reads the statement.
“The Business Year: Mozambique 2024” will not only have significant domestic distribution, but will also reach an international audience through various high-level business information platforms, including Bloomberg Terminal, Refinitiv Eikon, Dow Jones Factiva and FactSet. It will also be available on PressReader, Issuu and Google Books, as well as on thebusinessyear.com, the company revealed.
