AEMS – Enhanced Media Systems will provide training in Power BI for Mozambican companies that want to know more about their business.
The objective is to assure the necessary support in the decision making process and to improve the performance of the companies. To do so, it will rely on a group of trainers with a vast experience in that technological area in Portugal.
Power BI – developed by Microsoft – is a business intelligence (BI) platform, world market leader, that offers a technological structure capable of capturing data from various sources, transforming it and generating interactive and automated dashboards that support strategic decision-making for each company, guiding decisions in real time.
This training enables even users with less technical knowledge to work on the data analysis process on a daily basis, being able to monitor KPIs (key performance indicators) in real time and propose improvements according to their respective needs.
There are, in all, three levels of training to better respond to the state of evolution of each company, and they can be adapted to the needs and tailored to each organisation.
This type of training/specialisation should be of interest to all companies that generate a lot of data, especially those in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Banking, Insurance, Transport and Logistics and Food Distribution Companies, among others. The focus is on training the human capital of Mozambican companies to increase productivity, ensure business sustainability and create greater competitive advantage.
The panel of trainers, all specialists in this type of tool, is composed of Joana Villas-Boas, with 30 years’ experience in training in Office tools, consultancy and development of customised software. She specialises in Power Platform tools: Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate and Power Apps and is a Microsoft Partner. Francisco Norton Brandão has 20 years of experience in Data Analysis, Big Data, Business Intelligence, database management and development of digital solutions, Master in Information Management with specialization in Business Intelligence and is Affiliate Member Innovation & Analytics Lab at NOVA Information Management School (IMS). He is also a guest lecturer in several subjects related to Advanced Analytics at NOVA IMS School. The group of trainers is also composed by Rita Munhá, with ten years of experience in the consulting area with focus on Digital Transformation, post-graduation in Business Intelligence and Analytics and experience in developing solutions in Power BI.
EMS already provides the Mozambican market with BI tools through the use of an Advertising Monitoring platform. Now, through a partnership established with the company T3CH, EMS bets on Power BI training for Mozambican companies, strengthening its technological component to better serve its clients.
