Inhambane: Sasol and Field Ready Provide Professional Internship Grants to Young Graduates

Sasol Mozambique and Field Ready recently signed a memorandum, valid until 2024, through which Sasol will fund the practical training of 30 young graduates from Govuro and Inhassoro districts, in Inhambane Province.

According to information shared with Diário Económico, the said memorandum also provides that through the Field Ready employability platform, the young graduates of engineering courses from the aforementioned districts will have access to professional internship grants, which include internship allowance, payments of registration and fees, insurance and others.

“This initiative with Field Ready is an intensive employability and skills development programme aimed at adapting young graduates to the reality of the labour market. During the programme, participants will integrate a learning plan that includes practical work, health and safety at work, practical English and practical experiences in the workplace,” Sasol said in a statement.

Sasol Mozambique has been a corporate member of Field Ready since 2019, and so far, through the Field Ready initiative, 107 young graduates have participated in an immersion programme in practical principles about the oil and gas industry, supported by Sasol and its partners.
