Eswatini on Txilar’s Export Route

Heineken Moçambique has announced that it started exporting Txilar beer to the Kingdom of Eswatini in April, with the aim of granting Mozambicans living in there as well as tourists and the citizens of that country, access to this exceptional and unique quality beer.

Produced in Mozambique according to Heineken’s global standards, Txilar will be marketed in the Kingdom of Eswatini by Heineken Mozambique, which has opened an export line of Txilar 250 ml and Txilar 330 ml.

National tourism has also helped Txilar become known across borders, generating demand among Eswatini beer lovers and others.

Txilar beer is the result of Heineken’s US$100 million investment in a factory with the brewing industry’s most modern equipment and technology which, associated with the national workforce and top quality local raw materials, like the crystal clear water of Marracuene and corn grown in Manica central province, result in this excellent beer.

Managing Director of Heineken Moçambique Roelof Segers referred to the move as an important milestone for the company – moving from marketing to production and to exporting a ‘Made in Mozambique’ product.

“We are proud to positively contribute to our country’s trade balance by exporting Txilar beer to the Kingdom of Eswatini. This operation is proof of the leverage of the country’s quality resources and location, taking into account Heineken Mozambique’s strategic position in Southern Africa,” he said.
