Deloitte Appoints Nuno Saraiva Pinto to Lead Operations in Mozambique

Deloitte has appointed Nuno Saraiva Pinto as the new Country Managing Partner of Deloitte Mozambique, entrusting him with the leadership of the operation in the country and the responsibility of consolidating the consulting firm’s growth strategy in the domestic market, according to a statement.

With a career spanning more than 25 years in consulting, technology, and taxation, Nuno Pinto has until now served as a partner at Deloitte, where he advised public and private sector entities on multidimensional projects, including the structuring of economic groups, operational reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, investment structuring, and digital transformation programs. In his first reaction after the appointment, he emphasized the organization’s commitment to the Mozambican market.

“Deloitte has a strong commitment to Mozambique, which is reflected in its continuous and long-term investment. We have been strengthening and diversifying the services we offer our clients, keeping pace with the needs of a market increasingly focused on innovation and digital transformation. At the same time, we continue to invest heavily in people, training and developing the best talent in the country. We want to remain a catalyst for innovation and support the sustained development of Mozambican organizations and professionals,” he said.

Since Mozambique joined Deloitte’s Portuguese-speaking cluster in 2022—comprising five countries and more than 5,500 professionals—the consulting firm has strengthened its presence in the market, expanding its range of services and skills to meet the emerging demands of organizations.

Benefiting from the group’s global network, the firm provides specialized technological solutions to its clients in Mozambique, with the aim of increasing the competitiveness of the national economy in international markets.

Nuno Saraiva Pinto has a degree in Economics from the University of Lisbon, where he also completed a postgraduate degree in Tax Management. In 2015, he obtained the title of certified public accountant.
