EY Mozambique has officially announced the appointment of Bruno Dias as the new Office Managing Partner in Mozambique. Having already led the firm’s consulting division in the country, Bruno now assumes executive leadership with the goal of “consolidating the firm’s presence in the Mozambican market and driving sustainable growth.”
According to an official statement from the consultancy, Bruno Dias—who has an international background and a strong connection to Mozambique, where he arrived six years ago—brings a clear and ambitious vision: “Strengthening client relationships, developing new strategic capabilities, and promoting innovative solutions tailored to the national context.”
“We will focus on helping our clients tackle challenges such as digital transformation and process outsourcing, always with a foundation in excellence and agility,” stated Bruno Dias, emphasizing that human capital development will be one of his top priorities. “Only with a skilled and motivated team can we continue to deliver value and be trusted strategic partners.”
EY added that this new leadership represents “a renewed commitment to local talent, innovation, and inclusion. We want to create an environment where everyone has the tools and opportunities to grow and contribute to collective success.”
Bruno Dias holds a degree in Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon and a postgraduate qualification in Information Management and Business Intelligence in Healthcare from Nova University Lisbon. He has extensive consulting experience, with a focus on strategy, digital transformation, risk, compliance, and business model transformation across the public, financial, energy, health, and telecommunications sectors.
Before joining EY Mozambique, he worked at the EY Lisbon office and the EMEIA Consulting Center, and has led key projects in the country, including banking sector diagnostics, socioeconomic studies, cybersecurity initiatives, and public policy consulting in technology and logistics.
