Central Zone Wants Free Trade with Countries of SADC Region

Provinces of the Central Zone of the country, show interest in extending the chain of free trade with countries in the region of the Southern African Development Community (SADC).

The chain will be, in a first phase, strengthened with the Republics of Malawi, Zimbabwe and Zambia, countries that share a border with the provinces of Tete, Manica, Sofala and Zambezia.

The wish was expressed by the governor of Manica, Francisca Tomás, during the II Forum of Provincial Governors of the Central region, for the development of communities.

In his turn, the governor of Zambezia, Pio Matos, said that the holding of the Forum, which brings together the four provinces, should bring direct results for the communities of the region.
