Mozambique Airlines resumes this Thursday, April 14, direct flights between Vilankulo and Johannesburg. This is a resumption of the air link between two destinations that will have an essential impact on tourism in the region of Inhambane.
The first flight on the route will depart from Johannesburg at 10:55 hours, with arrival in Vilankulo estimated at 13:10 hours. From Vilankulo, the flight will take off at 13:40 hours, and is expected to land in Johannesburg at 15:55 hours. Subsequent connections will take place on Mondays and Fridays. Each route will last approximately 02:15 hours, to be carried out by a Q-100 aircraft, with capacity for 37 passengers in economy class.
The flight will be operated in financial partnership with CemAir, under the recently signed Interline agreement. By reintroducing the Vilankulo/Johannesburg route and vice-versa, LAM effectively positions itself as an active player in the promotion of tourism, through the provision of transport services that allow tourists to broaden their options for quick trips to access their preferred destinations.
