The production of macadamia nuts in the country may, within the next two years, exceed 30 thousand tons, which may generate more than 150 million dollars annually with the exports planned for South Africa, Vietnam, China and other countries interested in this nut.

The projection is from the Government, which according to Notícias, is currently boosting the production of this almond, whose starting point to gain greater visibility was in the year 2020, where the provinces of Zambezia, Manica and Niassa stand out for presenting great agro-ecological potential for this crop.
