For the first time in the history of the Maputo International Trade Fair (FACIM), the “Exporter Pavilion” will be inaugurated—a space dedicated to promoting the internationalization of national companies. The debut will take place at the Ricatla International Fair and Exhibition Center in Maputo, during this year’s edition, scheduled for August 25 to 31.
According to a statement received by Diário Económico, this new space was designed to facilitate direct connections between Mozambican companies and international buyers. Throughout the event, the ExportaMoz Incubator will promote over 700 meetings between entrepreneurs, creating opportunities for direct and strategic business engagement.
During the seven days of FACIM, the Exporter Pavilion will also host daily workshops on topics such as market access, certifications, financing, and investment opportunities. These sessions aim to equip national exporters with practical information and tools to help internationalize their businesses.
Another highlight will be the launch of the ExportaMoz Podcast, a digital platform intended to give voice to the experiences and challenges of exporters. The pavilion will also feature showcases of the export potential from all of the country’s provinces, highlighting the diversity and richness of Mozambican products.
The space will include an exhibition of services and solutions geared toward exporters, addressing the practical needs of those looking to expand into external markets. Companies from various sectors will have the opportunity to present their products and services to strategic partners. With the participation of international business delegations, the Exporter Pavilion positions itself as “the heart of Mozambique’s internationalization.”
The initiative aims to bring local talent and national products closer to global demand, in an environment of networking, training, and commercial promotion.
