CTA Defends the Creation of Conditions for the Resumption of Production in Cabo Delgado

The president of the Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique (CTA), defends that the return of the population victimized by the action of terrorists to their areas of origin, should be accompanied by the creation of conditions for the resumption of productive activities.

Agostinho Vuma presented this point, in Metuge, Cabo Delgado province, when he delivered kites of agricultural inputs, composed by improved seeds and irrigators, fertilizers, to twenty seven farmers of that district.

The delivery of those agricultural inputs, estimated in about half million of Meticals, aims to increase the production of vegetables, according to Gaspar Cuambe, director of GAIN, entity that participated in the help of the Metuge producers.

The ceremony of delivery of the kits to the vegetable producers, was witnessed by the governor of Cabo Delgado, Valige Taubo.
